Thank God for doctors with open minds and want to get to the bottom of someones health condition..
Kenneth Liegner.. Thank you Helen McCormack for dredging up and posting this (coupla' years old) video done for the ILADS Training program which continues to educate practitioners coming to the field. And also, thanks to everyone for their kind comments. Progress IS being made although it still seems 'glacially' slow. Attitudes need to change and this is happening as (regrettably) more and more people from all strata of society become affected and learn by their own experience how serious and devastating the illness (Lyme and also, of course, the co-infections) can be. It ought to be completely unacceptable for patients to be told "We don't see (chronic) Lyme patients here" with smug self-righteousness. Imagine saying something like that to persons with H.I.V./A.I.D.S.!!!!!!! That type of attitude needs to be socially ostracized and be perceived as shameful and unacceptable. What will it take to achieve that?
